The business is looking for an experienced Senior Communications Manager to lead our communications strategy during a pivotal digital transformation project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ERP systems communications and a proven track record of management within the higher education sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to support the digital transformation project.
2. Manage internal and external communications, ensuring clear and consistent messaging.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align communication efforts with organisational goals.
4. Oversee the creation of engaging content for various platforms, including social media, newsletters, and press releases.
5. Monitor and analyse communication metrics to measure effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.
6. Lead and mentor a team of communications professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Qualifications:

1. A demonstrated background in or Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
2. Minimum of 7 years of experience in communications, with at least 3 years in a management role.
3. Proven experience in delivering communications around ERP systems and digital transformation projects.
4. Strong understanding of the higher education sector and its unique communication needs.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
7. Strong leadership and team management skills.
