Head of Engineering

I am currently assisting a global digital asset company to recruit a Head Of Engineering. This leading company has a reputation for specialist solutions for enterprises. The company focuses on building and deploying customised applications for various industries, such as finance, supply chain management, healthcare, and more. This role is full time with opportunity for hybrid working to lead their growing engineering team.

About the Role:

The Head of Engineering will lead the engineering teams, define and implement the technical strategy, and drive the successful delivery of our software solutions. This critical leadership role requires a strong strategic vision and expertise in security, performance, availability, backup and recovery, testing, documentation, and AI-driven development.

Key Requirements:

1. Experience leading and managing large engineering teams in highly demanding production environments.
2. Proven track record in setting and implementing technology standards across an organisation.
3. Expertise in blockchain technology, including data privacy, identity management, smart contracts, cryptography, and security.
4. Strong leadership skills with a collaborative and strategic mindset.
5. Experience with agile methodologies and modern software development practices.
