Entry Level Designer : Salary: £24,000- £26,000 DOE
Outskirts of Maidstone
Monday- Friday 8am-4pm (no weekends)

We are proud to be exclusively partnering with an ambitious and growing company in the surrounding areas of Maidstone, in their search for an Entry Level Designer. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with limited experience of – but a keen interest in – design, who is looking to begin a career in the industry.

The Plan For Your Career Development:

  1. 3-Year Plan to become a fully-fledged Designer
  2. Full Training Programme (Including off-site visits to Milton Keynes and London)
  3. Work closely with the Lead Designer (who also started out as an Entry Level Designer in the industry)
  4. Work closely with different Developers on Contracts Designs
  5. See your designs develop into real architecture
  6. Regular constructive feedback to maximise your potential
  7. Take advantage of the company’s planned Promotion Pathways (e.g. Designer, Design Consultant, etc.)

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  1. A degree in Design, Architecture, or a related field
  2. A portfolio showcasing your creativity (University Projects are welcome)
  3. Driving Licence & Own Transport (Or a plan to have it soon)
  4. Passion and enthusiasm for beginning a career in design
  5. A resilient, reliable, and confident approach to learning
  6. A proactive nature when it comes to asking for – and acting on – feedback

Details:

  1. Office-Based
  2. 25 days Annual Leave
  3. Bank Holiday (Some need to be held back for the Christmas shutdown period)
