Business Development Manager - Managed IT Services

Are you a skilled Flutter Developer passionate about building high-performance mobile applications? We’re hiring on behalf of a growing business in Manchester City Centre who are developing innovative digital products and are looking for a talented developer to join their team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Flutter Developer, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality cross-platform mobile applications. Working closely with designers, backend developers, and product teams, you’ll build seamless and dynamic user experiences. Your day-to-day will include:

1. Building and deploying mobile applications for iOS and Android using Flutter & Dart
2. Integrating APIs, third-party SDKs, and microservices to enhance app functionality
3. Working with state management libraries like Provider, Riverpod, or Bloc for scalable app architecture
4. Implementing responsive UI/UX designs and ensuring high performance across devices
5. Writing clean, maintainable, and reusable code following SOLID principles
6. Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving performance issues in production applications
7. Setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Codemagic, GitHub Actions
8. Managing app deployment to the App Store and Google Play Store
9. Collaborating with the backend team to integrate RESTful APIs and WebSocket connections
10. Ensuring application security through best practices such as JWT, OAuth2, and secure storage

• Agile Methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Mobile Performance Optimisation

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Flutter Developer (2 years)
• Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.)
• Experience working with Firebase, Firestore, and cloud services
• Knowledge of deploying apps to the App Store and Google Play Store
• Strong understanding of mobile security principles
• Experience using testing frameworks like Flutter Test, Mockito, and Golden Tests
• Bonus: Experience with native iOS/Android development (Swift/Kotlin)
