About the Regional Market VP role… The Regional Market Vice President (VP) is responsible for shaping and delivering SiteMinder’s market strategy, positioning, and growth across the EMEA region. This role defines the regional market narrative—supporting how SiteMinder competes and creates value within the hospitality technology landscape. This position calls for a commercially aware and strategic leader with a strong understanding of market dynamics, the competitive environment, and customer needs. The Market VP works in partnership with cross‑functional teams—including sales, marketing, partnerships, product, and revenue operations—to align priorities and deliver regional plans. As a senior market leader, the Market VP uses market insight to inform direction across go‑to‑market, product, partnerships, and customer experience. The role represents the region externally with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders, and internally across the organisation. This role is part of a global team at SiteMinder. Some flexibility in working hours is expected to support collaboration across time zones.

  • Strategic Leadership
    • Shape and deliver go‑to‑market strategies aligned with regional opportunities.
    • Provide clear direction while encouraging input from relevant teams.
    • Develop team capability through feedback, support, and clear expectations.
    • Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive working environment.
    • Work with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams—including marketing, product, finance, and onboarding—to maintain alignment.
    • Represent regional perspectives in internal and external settings.
  • Revenue & Growth
    • Contribute to and deliver sustainable revenue growth across the EMEA region.
    • Maintain accountability for regional revenue and market share outcomes.
    • Identify opportunities to expand market presence and customer reach.
    • Engage in industry events, conferences, and customer discussions.
    • Monitor market trends and use insights to inform decisions.
    • Track performance using KPIs and adjust plans as needed.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead a team across sales, marketing, and operations.
    • Set clear goals and encourage shared accountability.
    • Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development.
  • Customer Relationships
    • Build and maintain effective relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Ensure customer feedback and issues are addressed appropriately.
  • Operational Effectiveness
    • Manage regional budget and resource allocation with care.
    • Improve processes where this adds value.
    • Support coordination across teams to strengthen the customer experience.

People who are successful in this role have:

  • Extensive senior leadership experience in GTM, ideally leading multiple geo‑based segments, within a high growth, SAAS sales environment.
  • Experience within the travel sector is a significant plus, but not essential.
  • Inspirational leader with a proven ability to build, manage, and scale a high‑performing sales team to achieve significant revenue growth.
  • Strong technology industry experience and a genuine curiosity for next generation solutions such as AI.
  • In‑depth understanding of the EMEA markets, familiarity with local culture, and business environment.
  • Strong business acumen, including the ability to analyse, and translate market intelligence data into actionable strategies and sales plans.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Thrive on working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and market conditions.
