This is a part-time role for a service-minded individual to act as the first point of contact internally for SiteMinder across a variety of technologies to provide exceptional service to our geographically dispersed staff. You will be responsible for setting up new starters, responding to all internal IT support issues, asset management and liaising with IT vendors. The role will involve high levels of problem analysis and using initiative to resolve issues quickly and accurately.
What You Will Do:
- Assist employees with the installation, configuration and usability of hardware, software and equipment.
- Be the first point of contact for internal IT support in Ireland and Europe, ensuring quick and effective responses to keep operations running smoothly.
- Maintain the helpdesk system that prioritises important issues and ensure all issues are responded to, dealt with, recorded and communicated effectively.
- Manage logistics for SiteMinder assets being sent and retrieved from remote staff.
- Assist the security team to identify and action security incidents.
- Prioritise issues and demonstrate a strong solutions-focused mindset in a fast-paced environment.
- Procure new hardware and software, maintain the asset register, and renew licences as required.
- Enforce SiteMinder’s standard operating environment policy.
- Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop computing, peripheral equipment and software.
- Conduct troubleshooting, testing and reporting as required.
- Be an internal SiteMinder ambassador, helping employees feel engaged and valued by providing seamless service.
- Support the Global ICT Director as required, enabling the expansion and growth of SiteMinder’s technical capabilities.
What You Have:
- Strong knowledge of Apple, MacOS and a background of supporting Apple hardware and software.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and other cloud-based applications such as Slack, Kandji, Okta and Dialpad.
- Understanding of IT networks.
- Ability to work independently and without supervision.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, understanding the importance of confidentiality.
- Great capacity for customer interaction, escalation and conflict resolution.
- Willingness to work above and beyond to get resolutions to issues.
- Approach everything with gusto, energy and dedication.
- Helpful, encouraging and respectful to team members and anyone you interact with.
