Foundever® is looking for an Assembly Operator to join our team in our Galashiels fulfilment warehouse. Please note that we are unfortunately not able to offer sponsorship for this role.
What will I be doing?
As an Assembly Operator with Foundever®, you’ll deliver professional, timely, and accurate support for our client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing Assembly tasks according to training provided across a varied client range
- Performing quality checks as laid out in Assembly procedures
- Ability to work to specific instruction samples/drawings
- Picking and isolating stock for daily orders
- Undertaking printing and assembly activity as detailed by client requirements – overprinting letterheads, printing labels
- Ensuring the safe keeping of stock and consumables within the Dept
- Helping the Senior Operator to identify more efficient ways of working
- Ensuring that products are processed in accordance with current quality processes/procedures primarily ISO 9001, 14001, 13485 applicable Client SOP’s etc.
- Accurate recording of activity times in conjunction with daily activity record
- Where required picking of goods from stock in accordance with Operating procedures
- Where required packing of products in accordance with Operating Procedures and using the correct void fill products
- Working in a safe and organized manner
- Putting component stock and finished goods stock away in the correct lay down areas
- To carry out any other activities deemed necessary by Senior Operators and Senior Team Lead
What skills and experience will I need to succeed?

- Good computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer systems.

- Previous experience with receiving, transporting, shipping and maintaining stock in a warehouse environment would be desirable.
