About the role:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and people-focused HR Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our People function. You’ll help ensure a smooth and engaging employee experience by managing onboarding, maintaining accurate records, updating systems, and supporting internal communications.
What you’ll be responsible for:
• Onboarding: Coordinate onboarding activities, including scheduling welcome sessions, preparing documentation, and system setup.
• Employee Records: Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee files and support compliance with HR policies and regulations.
• HRIS Management: Enter and update employee information in the HRIS and other internal systems.
• Internal Communication: Support the delivery of internal HR communications, announcements, and company updates.
• Process Support: Assist with HR processes such as probation tracking, contract changes, reference checks, and offboarding.
• General Admin: Provide ad hoc support to the People team as needed, including scheduling, reporting, and employee queries.
Essential Qualification:
• Experience in an HR support role.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication.
• Discretion and ability to handle confidential information professionally and with candour.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with HRIS platforms (we use Employment Hero).
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the HR field.
