This senior role has broad international scope and strong visibility across the business. You will combine sharp litigation judgment with a practical in-house mindset. You will protect commercial value, guide senior leaders through complex matters, and build scalable processes that help Sitecore manage risk with confidence.

What You Will Do:

  • Own Sitecore’s global disputes portfolio, including employment, commercial, vendor, license compliance, regulatory, and pre-litigation matters.
  • Lead early case assessment and litigation strategy, covering merits, business impact, preservation, settlement posture, and recommended next steps.
  • Manage matters from investigation through resolution, including legal holds, discovery, witness preparation, mediation, arbitration, settlement, and court proceedings.
  • Lead software license compliance and entitlement enforcement matters, partnering with Finance, Revenue Operations, Sales, Product, and Deal Desk.
  • Direct responses to regulatory inquiries and investigations, including strategy, correspondence, document collection, remediation, and executive updates.
  • Track relevant legal developments and translate new requirements into practical policies, controls, training, templates, and operating processes.
  • Support sensitive internal investigations involving workplace, ethics, commercial, privacy, security, and third-party risk issues.
  • Provide concise, decision-ready reporting to senior leaders on material disputes, regulatory risks, and remediation progress.
  • Manage outside counsel, strategy, budgets, staffing, and performance, and strengthen playbooks and escalation processes across the business.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Material matters receive early, practical risk assessments and clear ownership.
  • Senior leaders receive concise recommendations and understand the available decisions and trade-offs.
  • Outside counsel is used strategically, with disciplined budgets and accountability.
  • Disputes, investigations, license compliance matters, and new regulatory obligations are handled consistently across jurisdictions.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Significant post-qualification experience in litigation, regulatory disputes, investigations, commercial disputes, or software license compliance, gained in-house or at a leading law firm.
  • Experience managing complex matters from early assessment through resolution and developing litigation strategy, settlement posture, and executive recommendations.
  • Strong judgment across legal, commercial, financial, operational, and reputational risk.
  • Sound knowledge of legal holds, document preservation, privilege, confidentiality, discovery, and sensitive communications.
  • A record of translating legal requirements into practical business processes and partnering effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with high ownership and attention to detail.
  • A practical, collaborative approach and the credibility to build trust with senior leaders.
  • Based in Dublin or London, with the right to work in the applicable jurisdiction and willingness to travel occasionally.

Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:

  • Experience in a global SaaS, software, technology, or digital platform business.
  • Experience with software license compliance, audit rights, entitlement disputes, or contractual enforcement.
  • Experience with AI, digital services, cybersecurity, privacy-adjacent, consumer protection, public sector, or employment regulation.
  • Experience managing cross-border matters and reporting to executives, Boards, or Audit Committees.
