Applications are invited for the role of Water Purification Plant Operator to join our Brewery Engineering team. The WPPO will be supporting and driving continuous improvements within the wider brewery team - Ensuring all products are recycled and processed to the specified level, while maintaining standards, including EA, BRC, HACCP, and PUWER. – You will be leading, motivating yourself, whilst providing direction to team members to achieve operational excellence in a safe place to work, working with the team packaging great beer efficiently.

- Pay range of £33,000 up to £38,500 pa, subject to experience and contracted hours

Key Responsibilities of the role:
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company standards, legal requirements and compliance obligations, including GMP, BRC, HACCP, PUWER, DSEAR and EA Permit requirements.
- Operate and monitor the Water Purification Plant to ensure working within correct parameters.
- Work with Engineers to ensure plant maintenance tasks are completed to schedule
- To act as the site Technical Competent Manager (TCM) for the Water Purification Plant
- Laboratory testing of water quality
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, external customers and suppliers to support smooth day-to-day operations.
- Maintain accurate records, monitor KPIs and report on plant performance.
- Support the recycling operation
- Handle on-call emergency responses
The Qualifications / Experience you will need:
- WAMITAB qualification (or working towards); training can be provided
- Relevant waste management experience.
- Forklift Truck License
- Well organised and a confident communicator with an eye for detail
- Committed to achieving success as part of a team
- Flexible and willing to work in a variety of settings
- Comfortable with IT and digital administration systems
- Willing to undertake training and further professional development
