SOS Group are seeking a Site Manager with experience in modular construction to oversee and manage a hospital modular build project in Barrow in Furness. This role requires a proactive, experienced individual who can effectively manage day-to-day site operations, ensure safety compliance, and deliver the project on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all site activities, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of the modular build project.
  • Manage site operations, including coordination of subcontractors, materials, and labour.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders, including the client, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure clear communication and progress tracking.
  • Monitor project progress and resolve any site issues promptly to avoid delays.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are met and work is completed to specification.
  • Prepare and maintain site documentation, including daily reports, risk assessments, and health and safety audits.
  • Lead and motivate the on-site team, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure that the project remains within budget and is completed on schedule.

Qualifications:

  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification is essential.
  • CSCS Card (ideally Black) valid and up-to-date.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Experience with modular build projects, ideally in healthcare or hospital environments.
  • Proven experience in a Site Manager or similar role with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and to specification.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing hospital or healthcare-related construction projects.
  • Knowledge of the latest modular construction techniques and processes.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.

Salary & Benefits:

Pay rate between £275 to £300 per day, dependent on experience. Project up to May for the right candidate.
