What You'll Be Doing:
As Sous Chef, you'll be the Kitchen Manager's right hand helping to lead a team of up to 15 chefs and kitchen assistants in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment. You'll oversee service delivery, support junior chefs, and help ensure every dish is prepped to perfection and served on time.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting day-to-day kitchen operations
- Leading, mentoring, and coaching junior chefs during service
- Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and ensuring high food safety standards (Level 3 Food Hygiene preferred)
- Supporting with rota planning, training and development
- Monitoring food quality, portion sizes, and presentation
- Helping control food stock, costs, and waste to hit performance targets
About You:
You're confident, calm under pressure, and passionate about delivering great food consistently. You've likely worked as a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef in a busy kitchen and are now ready to step into a role where your leadership, timing, and team spirit can shine.
