Join a Leading Glasgow Refurbishment Contractor. Site Angels is delighted to be partnering with Contract Building Services (CBS), a well-established Glasgow contractor with over 30 years of experience delivering high-quality refurbishment, structural repair and preservation projects across the West of Scotland. CBS specialises in tenemental refurbishment works including roofing, stonework, rot repairs, structural repairs and external fabric restoration. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, we are looking to recruit either an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager to join their commercial team based in Hillington, Glasgow.

The Role

Working closely with the operational and leadership teams, you will take commercial responsibility for multiple refurbishment and restoration projects across Glasgow and the surrounding areas. Projects typically include:

  • Traditional tenement refurbishments
  • Roofing and leadwork packages
  • Structural repair works
  • Stonework and façade restoration
  • Rot and timber repairs
  • Planned maintenance and refurbishment frameworks
  • Historic and listed building projects

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing project costs from tender through to final account
  • Procurement and subcontractor management
  • Preparing valuations, variations and cost reports
  • Managing applications for payment and cash flow forecasting
