As a Project Coordinator, you will work within the Borders SITA Portfolio and support the Technology and Engineering (T&E) Program Manager. The role involves a mixture of project management skills and administrative tasks to support the Program Manager in assisting the T&E department. This role offers valuable learning opportunities, and the T&E Program Manager will support and mentor you to develop your skills and advance your career.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the T&E PMO function to track delivery
  • Prepare and present status reports on software delivery to stakeholders
  • Provide administrative support to T&E software development teams
  • Assist in raising purchase orders for T&E
  • Communicate daily with Product and Delivery teams outside of T&E
  • Assist in financial tracking against T&E budgets
  • Document customer project requirements
  • Coordinate T&E recruitment processes
  • Track timesheet bookings for T&E resources
  • Monitor T&E departmental Key Performance Indicators
  • Support delivery of internal T&E projects
  • Assist in the administration and delivery of strategic projects

Qualifications:

About Your Skills:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role with some involvement in project delivery
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams) and familiarity with MS Project
  • Experience working collaboratively towards common goals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including status reporting
  • Confidence in communicating with colleagues to seek clarification and challenge ideas
  • Good decision-making skills for quick escalation of concerns
  • Ability to work under pressure and reliably complete tasks
  • Self-reflection and willingness to improve
  • Openness to voicing opinions and making recommendations for process improvements

Nice-to-Have:

  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • Formal project management training and certification (PMP preferred)
  • Experience in a technical PMO environment
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps
  • Financial experience in budget tracking
  • Experience in risk and issue management
