Exciting opportunity for an Account Manager in the drinks industry! Our client, an award-winning PR team, is seeking an energetic and results-driven individual to manage several drinks accounts. This role is ideal for candidates with a solid PR agency background and a passion for the spirits or wine industry, though those with FMCG and food experience will also be considered. The position operates on a hybrid model, requiring three days in the office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Implementation and management of client PR strategies
- Proactive and reactive activities across trade and consumer media, including writing press releases
- Copywriting
- Organising and attending press briefings, dinners, and press trips
- Attending client meetings and brainstorming sessions
- General account management duties, including drafting activity and contact reports
- Assisting in new business development, including brainstorming and pitches
- Managing the junior team’s workload and supporting their development
Skills required:
- 3-4 years of PR agency experience in the UK
- Strong understanding of public and press relations and its benefits
- Knowledge of the UK wine and drinks industry
- Excellent written skills
- Proven team player
