You will be working for the high growth womenswear brand Sisters & Seekers within a creative and visionary team, all striving towards taking the brand to the next level. We are based near Chester but have a global reach with customers all over the world. We are looking for an experienced individual who is talented at womenswear design and is passionate about our brand & mission. You must have an eye for detail, clothing quality and be versatile in your design style. Give this a watch: This role will report to our Senior Womenswear Designer and is an exciting opportunity to join on a journey of expansion. What you will do: Take ownership of tech pack preparation, ensuring all construction, trim, and measurement details are accurate and up to date for product development. Translate the Senior Designer’s concepts into initial design ideas, mood boards, and garment sketches. Create detailed CADs and tech-packs for team and supplier use Create and regularly update linesheets per collection Attend fit sessions on new development when necessary and make comments/adjustments accordingly Communicate with Suppliers and Manufacturers to track developments, implement design adjustments and sizing amendments Curate linesheets for B2B presentation Assist with offering new product lines on a B2B basis with retail partners Produce ideas for new product lines and product expansion Support with collecting, understanding, and suggesting new fabrics and manufacturing techniques Assist senior designer with trend research on a regular basis, highlighting key styles, vintage references and design details Create relevant inspiration boards as and when needed Assist with repeat pattern and print developments Work under time constraints and to meet deadlines, with the passion and ability to work reactively to the business needs as and when these arise Work closely with the wider creative team to ensure designs align with campaign concepts and overall brand ideas We are looking for someone who has: The ability to work on-site at our office HQ (CH5) 2 years work experience as a Junior Designer A minimum of a completed Fashion Design Degree at 2:1 or above Evidence and examples of a strong design portfolio (please email this to alongside your CV & cover letter ) A keen eye for fashion and style in day-to-day life, with ideally an interest in Vintage clothing A good knowledge of manufacturing processes A good knowledge of fabrics and trims A can-do attitude and the ability to take initiative independently Excellent knowledge of the brand and the signature jersey/vintage aesthetic A creative flair with a unique vision and original ideas In depth experience with Adobe Creative Suite An open mind and “think-out-of-the-box” attitude The ability to blend and complete tasks within a team, working together with colleagues to give the best work output possible The ability to work on different projects simultaneously Confidence to develop, present and back your ideas to a group or team, yet finds feedback constructive to develop ideas further Strong organisational and people management skills and the ability to work well under pressure/in time-sensitive situations Industry: A women\’s and menswear fashion e-commerce company based near Chester.
