You will be working for the high growth womenswear brand Sisters & Seekers within a creative and visionary team, all striving towards taking the brand to the next level. We are based near Chester but have a global reach with customers all over the world. We are looking for an ambitious, driven and passionate individual who is looking to develop their garment technologist career in a dynamic and expanding team at our HQ near Chester (CH5). This position is a full-time role based in the office through Monday to Friday, with the opportunity to immerse yourself in the lively Sisters & Seekers team, experience staff and community events, and if you’re camera ready, to be a part of our viral TikTok videos!

This role will report to our Garment Technologist, and is an exciting opportunity to join a newly forming team on a journey of expansion.

What you will do:

  • Ensuring all samples received are measured and workbooks are updated ahead of fit sessions.
  • Assist the garment technologist in fit meetings supporting typing fit notes and taking fit images.
  • Supporting critical path management ensuring this is up to date ahead of the critical path meetings. This includes liaising with suppliers on sample updates.
  • Support in QC checks.
  • Sample management - gathering the post and ensuring all samples are received ahead of fit sessions.
  • Support on following up on test reports from suppliers.
  • General administration duties.
  • Help support garment tech with setting up workbooks once tech packs have been sent to the supply base.
  • Help support with reviewing QC reports.
  • Help in pulling basic returns data ahead of returns meetings.
  • Taking responsibility for own personal development, working alongside line manager to create a Personal Development Plan and map out clear career path to achieve your goals.

We'd love to meet someone with:

  • At least 1 years’ experience in Garment technology or product development as either a Garment technologist Admin Assistant/ product developer assistant or Assistant Garment technologist.
  • Someone who loves to get stuck in and has brilliant communication skills, working well both independently and within a team.
  • Strong organisational skills and thrives in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload and that of their direct reports where applicable.
  • Strong problem solving skills, a ‘can do’ attitude to finding solutions.
  • Someone with a great attitude who is willing to learn.
  • The ambition to develop and grow their career with Sisters and Seekers.
  • The ability to work in office full-time (📍CH5).
