Base pay range

SIS Care have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Support Worker to join our team based in Runcorn.
You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £27,690 per annum.
Overseen by four directors with more than 35 years’ experience in the NHS mental health and business sector, we are a leading social care provider offering supported living services for people with complex mental health needs. Our goal is to help people live independent lives through the delivery of bespoke care packages, backed by supported housing options.

Your responsibilities as our Senior Support Worker will include:
  • Ensure the people we support are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing.
  • To supervise staff and ensure that all staff contribute to the efficient running of the service.
  • Be responsible for promoting and protecting the welfare of those individuals supported by the service.
  • To provide leadership to the care staff within the service
  • Organise and plan supervisions and appraisals for staff.
About The Service
Southbank is a 100+ year old hotel converted into a mix of 7 self-contained flats & 7 en-suite rooms in the centre of the old town area of Runcorn. Southbank supports clients with complex mental health needs; it is staffed 24 hours a day and has a sleepover covering the nights.
What we are looking for in our Senior Support Worker:
  • Level 3 health & social care qualification or willing to work towards this.
  • Experience of caring for adults with complex mental health needs and challenging behaviours.
  • People that are enthusiastic about making a difference.
  • Self-motivated, empathetic, dynamic, and creative within the care sector.
