Seeking an Infrastructure Engineer with 9-10 years of experience to build and configure GCP services for customer monitoring platforms. Must have expertise in GCP, Terraform, automation, monitoring, and FinOps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deploy GCP infrastructure for customer monitoring solutions
  • Develop and maintain Terraform scripts for infrastructure provisioning and automation
  • Implement monitoring solutions using Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
  • Automate infrastructure operations using Python, Bash, CI/CD pipelines
  • Conduct FinOps activities: cost optimization, committed use discounts, budgeting
  • Implement security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance standards
  • Build cost monitoring dashboards and implement labeling strategies
  • Create technical documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents and optimize performance

Required Skills Experience

  • 9-10 years in cloud/infrastructure engineering
  • 5+ years GCP experience (mandatory)
  • 3+ years Terraform experience (mandatory)

Technical Must-Haves

  • Scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell
  • CI/CD: Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI
  • Networking: VPC, firewall rules, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud CDN, Cloud DNS

Preferred

  • GCP Certifications (Professional Cloud Architect/Cloud DevOps Engineer)
