The Assistant BIM Engineer will play a key role within the Digital Project Delivery (DPD) team and support project teams with developing, managing and delivering multi-disciplinary BIM standards & digital strategy. As an Assistant BIM Engineer, you will provide technical expertise and leadership to implement, develop and manage a successful BIM process from Precontract all the way through the project delivery and handover.

- Supporting the pre-construction team with the review of received tender documents (including Works Information, EIR, etc.) to identify Clients BIM and Digital requirements.
- Providing technical review of 3D BIM models received at tender stage for federation, engineering checks, clash detection, logistics and cost management.
- Support the production and delivery of project BEP, MIDP, MPDT and ensure internal project team and external parties are fully aware of their responsibilities.
- Work with planning team to develop, coordinate and deliver 4D BIM model.
- Developing and coordinate visualisations and interactive 3D Models.
- Lead the DPD kick off meeting (jointly with the Information Manager) with the project management team to review and finalise the DPD strategy.
- Support the BIM Engineers where required and mentor same as required.
5+ years’ experience of working on multi-disciplinary projects with BIM level 2 requirements. BIM Documentation experience is crucial for this role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience working with MS Office. Degree qualified in construction, computing or related discipline. Navisworks, Lumion and other rendering software packages. Completed a third-level qualification in construction, computing or a related discipline.
