We are seeking a skilled and proactive E & I Technician to handle the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems. The role requires expertise in maintaining plant equipment, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with industrial control systems, PLCs, sensors, transmitters, and other electrical and instrumentation devices.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform installation, calibration, and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems, including sensors, transmitters, PLCs, control panels, and wiring.

Troubleshoot and repair electrical and instrumentation faults to ensure minimum downtime.

Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and control systems.

Read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, and schematics to execute work effectively.

Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, test reports, and calibration certificates.

Assist in commissioning new equipment and upgrading existing systems.

Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to resolve technical issues and improve system reliability.

Participate in shutdown, turnaround, and project activities as required.

Ensure compliance with ISO, OSHA, and other relevant quality and safety standards.

Essential Qualifications:

Diploma / ITI in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.

Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an E & I Technician in industrial, manufacturing, or oil & gas environments.

Hands-on experience with PLCs, control systems, and industrial instrumentation.

Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques for electrical and instrumentation systems.

Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation equipment, wiring, and control systems.

Ability to read and understand electrical and instrumentation drawings and P&IDs.

Proficiency in using testing and calibration tools.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Knowledge of industrial safety practices and hazard identification.
