We are looking for an experienced and safety-conscious Blasting Supervisor to oversee surface preparation and blasting operations at our project site in Singapore. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in abrasive blasting processes, team supervision, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all blasting activities including surface preparation and grit/sand blasting
Ensure all blasting operations comply with project specifications, safety standards, and environmental regulations
Manage blasting crew and assign tasks to workers based on site requirements
Inspect blasting equipment and ensure proper maintenance and readiness
Monitor the quality of surface preparation and ensure optimal profiles for coating application
Maintain records of blasting operations, inspection reports, and manpower usage
Communicate with site engineers and safety officers for smooth workflow and risk mitigation
Conduct toolbox talks and enforce the use of PPE and safety procedures
Essential Qualifications
Certification in Blasting / Surface Preparation / Industrial Safety (preferred)
Diploma / ITI in Mechanical, Industrial, or related engineering discipline
Skills Required
Strong knowledge of blasting techniques, equipment, and media types
Ability to supervise and manage a team of workers effectively
Familiarity with safety practices and regulations for blasting operations
Good communication, reporting, and documentation skills
