Senior Support Worker
SIS Care is recruiting a full‑time, permanent Senior Support Worker to join our team. You will receive a competitive salary of £27,690 per annum.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the management of a team of support workers alongside the Service Manager and Deputy Manager.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels for the needs of the people we support.
- Demonstrate leadership on a day‑to‑day basis to the care staff within SIS.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of those we support.
- Induct and orientate new employees to the role and service.
- Communicate any problems, concerns or changes to families as needed.
- Organise and conduct supervision and appraisals in line with CQC requirements.
Qualifications
- Level 3 health & social care qualification or willingness to work towards.
- Experience of caring for adults with mental health needs and challenging behaviours.
- Self‑motivated, empathetic, dynamic and creative within the care sector.
- Enthusiastic about making a difference.
