Location: Macclesfield, England, United Kingdom

Base pay: £34,963.50 per year.

Hours: 37.5 per week with flexibility. On call duties.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Registered Manager in coordinating and liaising with new referrals and assessments.
  • Work across multi-disciplinary teams including forensics, mental health, learning disabilities, neurodiversity, and EUPD.
  • Jointly manage a team of support workers, ensuring adequate staffing ratios.
  • Oversee senior support workers to maintain quality and standards of care.
  • Collaborate with occupational therapy and positive behavioural support teams.
  • Maintain and work within CQC regulatory standards.

About the Service

SIS is a leading care provider in the Northwest, supporting individuals with mental health and housing needs since 2014. We are developing a brand-new 24-hour, PBS-led service in Macclesfield that will provide individuals with their own apartment within a 10-unit complex, supported by staff on site. The service is aimed at individuals who have had long-stay admissions in locked-door rehabilitation units, forensic units and out-of-area placements, offering them a first opportunity to live semi-independently and develop independent living skills.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Desirable Level 5 in leadership & management, or willingness to work towards it.
  • Level 3 health & social care qualification.
  • At least 2 years’ experience caring for adults with complex mental health needs and challenging behaviours.
  • PBS experience.
  • Management experience.
  • Enthusiastic about making a difference.
  • Self-motivated, empathetic, dynamic, and creative within the care sector.
