The Role
As a Contracts Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of the highest quality construction and refurbishment of various artificial surfaces. You will take pride in the role and ensuring the customer receives the best service every time. You will be the key contact for various projects and will manage sites to ensure smooth running from start to finish. This position will require extensive travel throughout the UK and an enhanced DBS check will be completed.
Key Responsibilities
- To manage specialist civils and installation teams to construct all aspects of sports pitches.
- To manage multiple projects from inception to completion and responsible for allocated project finances, procurement of plant and materials, procurement of subcontractors, health and safety, site management, labour planning, staff development and promoting quality.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working in construction is essential.
- Happy to work outdoors and be willing to support the business during peak summer months.
- Able to work away from home regularly.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to health and safety.
- A full driving licence is necessary.
- A willingness to learn and adapt as and when required.
- Previous experience working with sports surfaces would be beneficial.
