The Role

As a Natural Construction and Maintenance Operative, you will play an essential role in assisting the UK Natural Pitch Director with both the construction and maintenance of the highest quality natural sports surfaces throughout the UK. This position will require extensive travel throughout the UK and an enhanced DBS check will be completed.

Key Responsibilities

  • To work as part of a team in the preparation of the site for the construction and maintenance of a sports pitch.
  • To work as part of a team in the construction and maintenance of sports turf surfaces.
  • To ensure that, when required to do so, all company vehicles and plant and machinery are operated safely, in accordance with user instructions and company policy.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience working in construction is essential.
  • Plant machinery tickets and CSCS card are preferable.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Happy to work outdoors and be willing to support the business during peak summer months.
  • Able to work away from home regularly.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to health and safety.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt as and when required.
  • Previous experience working with sports surfaces would be beneficial.
