Are you an undergraduate student looking for a hands-on placement year in IT support? Sports Information Services (SIS) is the leading supplier of 24/7 content and data to betting and gaming operators worldwide. We deliver engaging content including horse and greyhound racing, virtual racing, live number draws, and e-sports. We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a Student Placement as an End User Computing Support Analyst to join our Infrastructure team and gain real-world experience in a fast-paced technology environment.
About the Role
As an End User Computing Support Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting our corporate technology estate, which includes Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud services. You’ll work closely with our End User Computing Engineer and Infrastructure Operations Manager to ensure our colleagues have the tools and support they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for end-user hardware and software
- Manage IT assets and stock of devices and peripherals
- Troubleshoot issues with Teams Rooms and audio/visual equipment
- Assist with account and equipment processes for joiners, movers, and leavers
- Support mobile device management (Apple and Samsung Knox)
- Handle packaging and shipping of IT equipment
- Occasionally visit other SIS sites (London, Manchester) to resolve technical issues
What We’re Looking For
- Currently studying for a Bachelor’s degree and seeking a 12-month industrial placement between Year 2 and your final year
- Experience providing technical support (to colleagues, friends, or family)
- Understanding of desktop/laptop hardware and Windows 10/11
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 products
- Basic networking knowledge
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- A proactive, customer-focused mindset

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, based in Milton Keynes office (5 days on-site). Occasional out-of-hours support may be required.
Salary: £25,350 (to be reviewed April 2026)
