Are you passionate about racing and confident behind the mic? Do you thrive in a fast‑paced, live broadcast environment where your voice brings sport to life? We’re looking for an energetic Racing Commentator to join our team on-site for an exciting opportunity.
The Role
As one of the voices of our service, you’ll play a vital role in delivering engaging, accurate and enthusiastic live commentary across Horse Racing, Greyhound Racing, Virtual racing and Numbers games. Your commentary, previews, updates and betting shows will help inform and excite audiences while supporting our retail and online bookmaker partners. You’ll report into the Senior Voiceover and work closely with a collaborative team committed to trusted delivery and high editorial standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver live commentaries, previews, reviews, updates and racing news
- Promote sporting events with accurate betting and editorial information
- Read and transmit betting shows in the correct order and format
- Operate PC applications and broadcast technology within voiceover booths
- Communicate programme information clearly and concisely
- Contribute to a positive, professional and collaborative working environment
- Engage and inform listeners to help drive turnover across retail and online platforms
- Be the confident, enthusiastic voice of our racing content
- Show genuine passion for sport, racing and SIS products
- Deliver commentary that energises, informs and captivates listeners
What We’re Looking For
- A strong racing background with excellent sporting knowledge
- Solid betting knowledge, particularly within racing
- Previous experience as a voiceover or commentator (highly desirable)
- Clear, confident vocal delivery and the ability to think quickly under pressure
