Theatre Nursing Team – Aberdeen General | Gynaecology | ENT Theatre Lists
Sirona Medical is currently recruiting experienced Theatre Nurses and Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs) to join 4 full theatre teams supporting scheduled operating lists across Aberdeen. We are looking for reliable, experienced theatre professionals who can work as part of a complete multidisciplinary theatre team and confidently support General, Gynaecology and ENT lists.
The Role
As part of the Sirona Medical theatre team, you will work alongside surgeons, anaesthetists, ODPs, nurses and other theatre professionals to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality patient care throughout the surgical pathway.
We are looking for staff who are experienced in one or more of the following areas:
- General Surgery
- Gynaecology
- ENT
- Scrub
- Recovery
- Anaesthetics
- Circulating / Runner duties
- Pre-operative and post-operative patient care
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidates will have:
- Current NMC registration for Registered Nurses or relevant HCPC registration for ODPs
- Recent and relevant theatre experience
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary operating theatre team
- A strong understanding of patient safety, infection prevention and theatre procedures
- The ability to work effectively under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A professional, reliable and flexible approach
- The right to work in the UK
- A valid PVG membership/check, or be willing to undergo the required PVG process, as required for working in Scotland
