Overview
We are currently seeking experienced Endoscopy Nurses to join our insourcing teams delivering high-quality endoscopy services across hospitals in Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled nurses looking for flexible work, competitive rates, and the chance to support NHS teams in reducing waiting lists.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the full range of endoscopy procedures (OGD, Colonoscopy, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, etc.)
- Ensure all infection control and decontamination protocols are followed
- Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and patients in line with local and national standards
- Provide safe, compassionate, and efficient patient care throughout the procedure and recovery process
- Work collaboratively with consultants, endoscopy practitioners, and support staff
Requirements
- Fully Endoscopy Room Trained (must be competent in both procedure room and recovery areas)
- Minimum 12 months of recent endoscopy experience within the NHS or private sector
- Up-to-date NMC registration
- Valid Right to Work in the UK
- Mandatory training and immunisations in line with NHS standards
- Flexibility to travel to different hospital sites across Scotland
