Job overview: We are recruiting for a Fixed Term contract to support the Children services reception at Drove House - Weston Super Mare. The service is based at Drove House and provides a range of specialist children’s services across BNSSG, including Community Paediatrics, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, and Physiotherapy. We support children and young people aged 0–18 years and their families. We provide a child-centred and holistic service, working closely with colleagues across health, social care, and education to ensure children and families receive coordinated and effective support tailored to their individual needs.
Main duties of the job: As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for service users, parents, carers, professionals, and visitors to the Centre. You will play an important role in providing a welcoming, professional, and efficient front-of-house and administrative service.

Person specification:
- Experience of working in a busy office environment, preferably in a customer facing or receptionist role
- Experience of using a wide range of office equipment (i.e. computers, photocopiers)
- Experience of using a variety of IT systems including Microsoft Office
Qualifications:
- GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
- Relevant knowledge and experience or NVQ Level 2 in business administration
Skills:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
