Then the Senior Healthcare Support Worker apprenticeship is the perfect starting point. This Level 3 qualification will give you the perfect platform to explore our other apprenticeship opportunities utilising the strong relationships we have with local higher education providers. This can unlock the door to a future career as a qualified Assistant Practitioner, Nurse Associate, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Nurse.
Our teams support patients to live independently and improve their quality of life in the place they call home. As a Community Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in our service. Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team made up of registered clinicians, other support staff and Administrators, to provide vital ongoing clinical care such as vital signs observations, basic wound care techniques, medicines management, functional rehabilitation, and many other clinical skills. Successful candidates will receive full support to complete the Level 3 Senior Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship and become confident working independently in the community.

Main duties of the job:
- Undertake a range of delegated clinical, therapy & nursing led activities to support our service users.
- Provide safe, patient centred and effective clinical care in the community setting.
- Work within adults services to deliver a full range of healthcare activities.
- Be able and willing to travel throughout the service delivery geographical area.
- Commit to completing the Level 3 Senior Healthcare Support Worker apprenticeship, with support from your team.
You’ll be entitled to enhanced pay for weekends and bank holidays and mileage is reimbursed whilst you carry out your duties at work. This service runs from 8am - 8pm, 7 days a week. 6+ hours weekly paid ‘off the job’ training time with some self-directed study also required.

Person specification:
Qualifications: English and Maths at a minimum of GCSE grade C, or equivalent.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
