We are looking for Senior Clinic Assistants to join our team! You will support the delivery of high quality and efficient outpatients service to the 0-19 years population across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) within community clinic settings.
You will help to facilitate the smooth running of clinics ensuring notes, relevant documentation and equipment are available to support both health professionals providing clinics and children, young people and families attending. This role combines a range of clinical and administrative tasks and works takes place across a variety of settings in Paediatric Outpatient Clinics. You will be required to travel in and around BNSSG to meet the requirements of the post. We have both full time and part time roles available. We have a fixed term position for 28 hours per week available.
To prepare children to see the clinician by undertaking growth monitoring observations, including height, weight and blood pressure and support the clinician during clinic as appropriate. To arrange and hold independent clinics for children who need regular reviews of height, weight and blood pressure. To support the On‑call clinical team with any Child Protection medicals. The role combines a range of clinical and administrative tasks.
To understand a range of communication styles that can support the needs and preferences of the children, young people and their families.
