This role will work alongside three other INT managers, an Assistant Locality Manager, Locality Manager and a fantastic team of clinical and administrative staff. The INTs are integral to supporting our people of South Bristol - they have a wide range of nursing and therapy staff with excellent skills to prevent unnecessary admission; facilitate discharge and provide planned clinical and assessment interventions to help people to remain safe, well and as independent as possible in their own home.
Our INTs deliver out of hospital care to people in their own homes, care homes or community clinics. We provide both planned and unplanned care during the hours of 8am – 8pm, 7 days a week.
Your role will include day to day operational management of the INT and be key to maintaining and improving the performance of the INTs; leading by example you will support the growth and development of our teams and the individual staff within them. In turn we can provide you with a supportive environment where we are committed to your ongoing development – helping you to reach your full potential.
Your primary purpose will be to support the Assistant Locality Manager and Locality Manager in leading the Integrated Neighbourhood Teams (INTs) and senior clinicians in the planning, delivery, improvement and development of a range of clinical services to achieve the quadruple aim. You will support a number of projects that will contribute to the achievement of service objectives and wider organisational goals in line with the service specifications for BNSSG Adult Community Services Contract.
You will be required to lead by example to gain the best from services and staff, ensuring they are supported to remain engaged, positively challenged and effective.
