We are seeking a Senior Exposure Manager to lead framework design, execution, and exposure reporting across SiriusPoint and its entities. The role involves leading portfolio risk management, ensuring global exposures are well understood, modeled, and proactively managed. The Senior Exposure Manager will support the Global Head of Exposure Management in:

  • Delivering the exposure management strategy for SiriusPoint and all legal entities, including SIMA.
  • Developing, championing, and improving the exposure management framework, policies, and procedures.
  • Creating processes and tools for new lines of business and emerging risks, including natural and non-natural catastrophe exposures.
  • Providing analytics and insights on individual risks and portfolios.
  • Monitoring accumulation risks against group and entity limits.
  • Overseeing data capture, aggregation, and reporting procedures related to exposure management.
  • Coordinating development and validation of tools and processes for exposure management.
  • Providing exposure management data for group and syndicate capital models.
  • Delivering reports for Lloyd’s, regulatory bodies, and relevant committees.
  • Responding to inquiries from regulators and rating agencies.
  • Representing the Exposure Management function in internal and external forums.
  • Maintaining standards (RIO) for SIMA Syndicate 1945.
  • Performing any other duties as required.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Strong communication skills for delivering analytics to executive leadership.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining effective exposure management solutions.
  • Deep understanding of insurance classes, including non-modeled lines and RDS modeling.
  • Proficiency with analytical tools, SQL, and additional programming languages (R/Python/VBA) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of catastrophe modeling systems and platforms like Sequel Impact, Praedicat, Skytek, AIR, RMS.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance within a regulated company (PRA/FCA) and Lloyd’s requirements.
  • Ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships.
  • Effective time management and multi-project handling skills.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
