Role Overview

Lead the design, execution and reporting of the exposure management framework for SiriusPoint Group and all legal entities. Work as a leader in portfolio risk management to ensure that all global exposures are understood, modelled and proactively managed.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the Exposure Management strategy for SiriusPoint Group and all legal entities, including SIMA.
  • Oversee exposure management data capture, aggregation, concentration of risk and reporting procedures.
  • Lead the development of exposure management processes and tools for new and existing lines of business.
  • Provide information, insights and analytics to the business on an individual risk and portfolio basis.
  • Monitor accumulation risk against group and legal‑entity limits and thresholds.
  • Develop, champion and continuously improve the exposure management framework, including all policies, procedures and process documentation.
  • Provide exposure‑management feeds and validation for the group and syndicate capital models.
  • Deliver relevant exposure‑management reports, including Lloyd’s and regulatory returns, reports to committees, the board and third parties.
  • Respond to any inquiries from regulators and rating agencies.
  • Represent the exposure‑management function internally and externally at appropriate committees and forums.
  • Maintain minimum standards (RIO) for SIMA Syndicate 1945 with respect to exposure management.
  • Any other duties as reasonably required.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills to regularly deliver analytics to executive management, including the Executive Leadership Team, P&L leaders and product heads.
  • A proven track record of developing, implementing and maintaining effective exposure‑management solutions.
  • Thorough working knowledge of processes and procedures in catastrophe‑modelling systems.
  • Experience with exposure platforms such as Sequel Impact, Praedicat, Skytek, Orchestra or similar.
  • Deep understanding of insurance classes and exposure to non‑modelled lines of business and Realistic Disaster Scenario (RDS) modelling.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with analytic tools, technologies and SQL programming; additional skills in R, Python or VBA are a bonus.
  • Experience working within a regulated company (PRA/FCA) and a solid understanding of Lloyd’s and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to build trusted working relationships with stakeholders and team members.
  • Effective time‑management skills and willingness to work on multiple projects in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Accurate, timely and detail‑oriented focus.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and problem‑solving skills.
