Join Our Team As a Change Manager you will be expected to execute plans that deliver faster adoption and utilization of business changes by focusing on the people impacted in their day-to-day work – ensuring they are ready, able and willing to adopt change. Using change methodologies and frameworks, you will contribute to and carry out change delivery and adoption plans working alongside project delivery teams to increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of key outcomes and results.

A key aspect and outcome of this role is to facilitate the people side of change to minimize resistance and maximize the successful adoption of changes aligned with organizational objectives. You will support the Head of Business Change in developing and implementing plans, supporting the project delivery teams with communication activities, provide guidance on training activities, track OKR progress, measure business benefits and ensuring business readiness to accept the change. PROSCI and/or CMI qualifications are desired.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Using structured methodologies and frameworks: using processes and tools to support in the creation of plans and execute a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
  • Delivering change management activities, including change impact assessments, stakeholder management plans, communication and engagement plans, change risk or resistance management plans, change network development, business and user readiness assessments, ‘transition to operations’ plans and activities.
  • Stakeholder management and working cross functionally: Network, coach and manage stakeholders across the business at all levels.
  • Support communication efforts: Working with the communications team to curate and develop communications to the business regarding the change and management of key communications activities.
  • Business readiness: Ensure business readiness by coaching others in the change and anticipating challenges and resistance.
  • Integrating change plans into project management plans whilst being mindful of wider organizational and external factors.
  • Assessing the change impact: Conducting impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders.
  • Support training efforts: Provide input and guidance, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training plans.

Additional responsibilities might include:

  • Making sure the benefits are achievable by supporting the delivery teams with OKR creation before measuring the benefits after the work is complete.
  • Establishing and implementing mechanisms to measure and deliver benefits.
  • Support in defining and tracking the benefits and outcomes required from the programme.
  • Managing the activities effectively that’s associated with the wanted benefits.
  • Leading the transition, ensuring that changes are integrated into the business.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working in the insurance/reinsurance industry.
  • Effective communication skills to sell the programme vision to all stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of business change techniques such as business process modelling and gap analysis.
  • Certification and training in change management, programme management or strategic management.
  • Familiar with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
  • A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process.
  • Knowledge of organisational change models such as Prosci and Kotter’s change model is an advantage.
  • Exceptional communication skills and active listening skills, able to work effectively at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages at all levels.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships, ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
  • Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere.
  • Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics, problem solving and root-cause identification skills.
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts.
  • Certified and experienced in project or programme management or change/strategic management.
