The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Are you immediately available to start a day rate Interim assignment on 17th April for a period of approximately 6 weeks? You will be supporting the HR team during a busy time, providing employee relations advice and operational HR guidance on a broad range of ER caseloads, investigations, absences and potentially more complex disciplinaries and grievance cases. You will also provide HR support in the form of notetaking at consultation meetings and documentation required through a period of change. Due to the short-term nature of the ER / HR Advisor role and the assignment, you will be required to drive across different locations, all within the East Kent area.

Some responsibilities include:

  • Coach and guide managers through HR processes following up to ensure managers complete actions.
  • Advising on capability and performance management.
  • Advising and providing support on absence and welfare issues, referrals to occupational health.
  • Attend disciplinary or grievance hearings and resolution meetings when necessary to support line managers with complex ER cases.
  • Ensure the ER case tracking system is maintained and updated – providing KPI data where required.
  • Support the HR Director or Head of HR with organisational change projects, attending meetings as a notetaker and collating and sending out paperwork and documentation.

Skills/Attributes required:

  • Ideally, CIPD Level 5 qualified as a minimum with experience in advising managers on a range of ER issues.
  • Previous experience of working in a fast-paced and busy ER/HR environment.
  • Great people skills, able to build strong working relationships quickly and challenge where required.
  • Strong verbal and written skills with attention to detail, accuracy and consistency.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Applications – Word, Excel, Outlook & Teams.
