What You\’ll Do
You\’ll play a key role in ensuring materials and stock flow smoothly through the business, supporting production teams and helping keep operations running at peak efficiency. Your typical day will include:

Receiving and inspecting materials, then storing them safely and accessibly
Supplying and loading materials for production, laser cutting and despatch
Packing and loading goods for delivery, plus occasional local van driving
Maintaining accurate stock records in the ERP system.
Carrying out stock counts, investigating discrepancies, and monitoring usage trends
Setting up and optimising Kanban systems for consumables, tooling, and packaging
Supporting 5S and Lean improvement projects alongside production and purchasing teams
Helping out in the bench area (sawing, drilling, spot welding) when needed
What We\’re Looking For

Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or materials role – ideally in manufacturing
Forklift licence and a clean UK driving licence
Knowledge of ERP systems
Excellent attention to detail, clear communicator, strong team ethic
Flexible approach to early starts/late finishes when required
Salary, Hours & Benefits

£26,500-£28,000 per annum (c. £13-£14/hr) + overtime at 1.5x
39 hours/week: 7:30-16:00 Mon-Thu, 7:30-15:00 Fri
23 days holiday (with 3-4 days held for Christmas)
