The Role

We're on the lookout for an experienced MIG & TIG Welder to join our client's night shift team, producing high-quality welds from a variety of metals, thickness varies from 0.2mm - 8mm.

Key duties include:

  • MIG and TIG welding of mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.
  • Working from technical drawings to meet exact specifications.
  • Performing own quality checks to ensure a clean, consistent finish.
  • Collaborating with the fabrication team to meet production targets.
  • Maintaining a safe, tidy work environment.

This is a permanent night shift (14:15 - 00:30) Monday to Thursday offering a 4-day working week and a quieter shop floor to focus on quality work.

What You'll Need

We're looking for a reliable, skilled welder with:

  • Proven experience in both MIG and TIG welding, ideally in a sheet metal or fabrication setting.
  • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Good attention to detail and a pride in producing high-quality finishes.
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to work well independently.
  • Codings are not essential, as the client will put successful candidates through these.
  • A relatively stable work history.
