Ready to step up and lead from the front? If you’re an experienced Press Brake professional with strong leadership skills, this is your opportunity to take ownership of a key department within a well-established and respected sub-contract sheet metal engineering company in Redditch. This is your chance to join a stable company where your experience, ideas and drive will genuinely make a difference. Enjoy a straight day shift (07:30 - 16:45 Monday-Thursday, 12:30 finish Friday), flexible holidays with Christmas shutdown, and the security of a permanent position offering up to £30,000 DOE.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading and coordinating the Press Brake department
  • Setting and operating CNC press brake machines
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings accurately
  • Ensuring production targets and quality standards are met
  • Allocating workloads and supporting team members
  • Troubleshooting technical and production issues
  • Driving continuous improvement across processes
  • Supporting daily production meetings and reporting progress
  • Maintaining high standards of health & safety and housekeeping

This is a hands-on leadership role — ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring others while staying technically involved.
