Sirius Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Goods In / Goods Out Storesperson to support their busy manufacturing and warehouse operations. You will be working in a fast-paced fabrication business where no two days are the same.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating forklift trucks (FLT)
- Unloading delivery vehicles and following goods-in procedures
- Collating customer orders and loading vehicles for delivery
- Assisting in other areas when required (delivery driving, machine operator labouring)
- General stock checks and inventory support
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping across the yard
- Preparing the premises for the following day's work
- Reporting any required FLT maintenance or repairs
- Working closely with the warehouse team to ensure smooth daily operations
What we're looking for:
- A full UK driving licence (essential)
- Forklift truck experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment (beneficial)
- Good physical fitness for manual handling tasks
