The role & what you will be doing:
- Running the CNC laser machine as efficiently as possible, aiming for factory speeds without compromising quality.
- Minimising machine stoppages and downtime.
- Carrying out basic quality checks by measuring parts against customer drawings.
- Accurately recording quantities produced on job sheets.
- Moving raw materials to and from designated storage areas, maintaining identification of offcuts.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and tidy work area.
- Highlighting any health & safety concerns to the Works Manager.
