Permanent Position £15/hour - 37.5 hours/week

Fixed Shift - 07.30 - 16.00 Mon - Thurs, 07:30 - 13:00 Fri

I am currently working with an engineering business based in Cannock who are a sub-contract sheet metal working company. Due to an increase in orders, they now have a requirement for an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join their existing team on the shop floor.

Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the Fabricator/Welder will be a confident MIG and TIG welder, able to weld stainless steel and mild steel, in a variety of gauges of thickness; with the ability to read engineering drawings and fabricate components from them.

The ideal candidate for the Fabricator/Welder role will have:

  • Good experience of MIG & TIG welding
  • The ability to read engineering drawings
  • Gained previous experience in a similar role
  • Good communication skills

In return the Fabricator/Welder can expect to receive a competitive salary, 33 days flexible holiday entitlement and free onsite parking. The work pattern for this role will be straight day shift with 30 minutes for lunch, however, a degree of flexibility will be expected if there is the requirement to cover other shifts.
