Our client is seeking a talented and experienced CNC Machine Shop Supervisor to join our dynamic team. As the leader of our combined Machine Shop, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations, meeting our safety, quality, and delivery objectives. This is a hands-on role where you'll spend the majority of your time on the shop floor, with a focus on supporting and developing your team. If you're a skilled CNC operator and programmer with a proven track record of leading a machine shop, we'd love to hear from you.   Monday to Thursday 7am till 4pm Friday 7am till 12pm   Key Highlights: Lead a team of skilled CNC operators and machinists to deliver on our safety, quality, and production goals Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the department Enjoy a hands-on role with a balance of supervisory and leadership responsibilities Preferred Requirements: Accountable for the delivery of Safety, Quality and Product delivery objectives within the department Support the development of team members and lead daily stand-up meetings Address any employee or management issues and enforce company policies within the CNC Machine Shop Identify and lead potential improvements within the CNC machine shop associated with Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Efficiency Ensure daily start-up checks are completed and workplace organization standards are met Preferred Qualifications: Proven track record supervising effectively in a machine shop environment Experienced CNC setter, operator, and programmer, with a focus on Fanuc controls Proficient in milling and turning manufacturing processes and techniques Sirius Recruitment are operating as a recruitment agency in the recruitment of this role
