We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Principal Geoenvironmental Engineer to join our geoenvironmental team based in Durham. You will have established experience in geoevironmental or geotechnical consulting.
To be successful in your application you must demonstrate:
- A strong academic background in a relevant subject e.g., Engineering Geology/Environmental Engineering with knowledge of both geotechnical engineering and contaminated land risk assessment
- Achieved chartership with a relevant professional body.
- Experience in designing, managing and carrying out Site Investigations
- Experience in business development and tendering
- Strong experience in client liaison and engagement.
Key Tasks:
- Project management focusing on technical delivery and financial performance
- Factual and interpretive report writing/reviewing – e.g., Desk Studies, Geoenvironmental Appraisals, Remediation Strategies etc.
- Pricing for and winning work.
- Engaging in client and regulator liaison and business development.
- Providing technical advice and support to clients.
- Basic computer literacy required and experience with standard MS packages such as MS Word and MS Excel. Knowledge of CAD and Holebase desirable.

Full-time position based in our Durham office / on-site / home working.
37 hours per week.
Must have full, clean driving licence and own vehicle.
Mileage rates to be paid inline with HMRC fuel rates.
Company car or car allowance available.
Salary negotiable, dependent on experience/ability.
