We are seeking a strategic leader to shape and operationalise our global Data & AI Governance framework. This is a high-impact role ensuring that data and AI are trusted, compliant, and leveraged responsibly across underwriting, claims, finance, and beyond—unlocking innovation while maintaining rigorous control.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and lead the enterprise Data Governance operating model
- Chair Data & AI Governance Committees and influence senior stakeholders
- Establish policies across data classification, quality, retention, and access
- Build and implement AI governance aligned to EU AI Act, GDPR, and global regulations
- Oversee model risk management, AI lifecycle governance, and third-party AI usage
- Drive data quality, metadata management, and lineage transparency
- Partner with architecture, cybersecurity, and business teams to embed governance-by-design
- Enable self-service data and AI across domains
Experience & Skills
- 10+ years in data governance, risk, or data leadership roles
- Strong experience within insurance, reinsurance, or financial services
- Deep knowledge of GDPR, AI governance, and model risk frameworks
- Experience with governance tooling (e.g., Collibra, Purview, Erwin)
- Strong understanding of AWS-based data ecosystems
- Proven ability to influence across technical and business stakeholders
