We operate across multiple sectors, including defence, energy, and Nuclear. We are looking for Operational Analysis Consultants to join our OA team as we go through our next phase of growth. As an Operational Analysis Consultant, your role will be crucial in delivering informed, client-focused decision support across a diverse range of industries, including the UK MOD and NATO. You'll participate in projects that demand a keen ability to assess, analyse, and meet client-specific needs using rigorous analytical approaches, thereby fostering internal growth and enhancing our client relations. Consultants work under the guidance and mentorship of more senior staff and are expected to take leadership of project sub-tasks to deliver high-quality project outputs. Delivering technical consulting projects. Building new relationships and maintaining current customer relationships. The successful candidate will have experience in Operational Analysis approaches to support business decision making, policy development, and / or research, including both ‘soft’ and ‘hard’ techniques. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience working with Defence Digital, DE&S, Dstl, Frontline Commands, UK Defence industry, NATO. Business development and bid writing. Data manipulation and analysis languages (VBA, SQL, R, Python). Business acumen and commercial awareness. An understanding of UK Government guidance and requirements relating to the delivery of analysis and Business Cases (AQUA and GREEN Books). Operational Research Society, APM, IMA) and have a desire for further professional development. Educated to degree level or have equivalent relevant experience. You will have exposure to subject matter experts and additional online learning packages.
