We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Systems Engineering team as we go through our next phase of growth. Our System Engineering function is responsible for understanding clients' challenges and finding solutions to their problems. Our capabilities cover the full lifecycle from Requirements Engineering; Architecture Development; Systems Analysis, Analysis of Alternatives; Integration Verification Validation and Testing; through to Sustainment; Disposal and Replacement.
The Role: As senior consultant, you'll be expected to utilise your skills and expertise across the Systems Engineering lifecycle, the specifics of which will depend on the type of task you're deployed on. You may be deployed to lead a technical team on short term tasks, providing clients with evidence-based analysis and recommendations to solve technical problems. Equally, you could be deployed on longer-term, large-scale programmes, operating within a team delivering products and artefacts as part of a wider service or solution. We deliver these services across a wide client base, including UK MOD and NATO, other government agencies, and wider Defence and Non-Defence industry.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting delivery of technical consulting projects.
- Designing, applying and delivering systems engineering approaches to tackle real world problems, utilising capabilities in; Requirements Management, System Architecture, C4ISR, Space Engineering, Modelling and Simulation, Communications Systems.
- Developing analytical tools and techniques, including novel approaches, where required.
About You: Having a proven track record of delivering engineering solutions, you will have a sound understanding of systems engineering techniques and Engineering management, and the ability to develop technical solutions to business problems. Candidates will require expertise in some or all of the following areas:
- Experience in either Space Systems, Telecommunications and Network Systems, Military C4I Systems or Digital Engineering practices such as Modelling and Simulation or Digital Twins.
- Experience in Systems Engineering lifecycle.
- Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering, using digital tools and models across the engineering lifecycle.
- Experience in Enterprise Architecture, or domain specific architecture use of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, NAF, or equivalent.
- Requirements Engineering and use of related tools, such as IBM DOORS, Dimensions RM, or equivalent.
- Creation and management of Capability and Technology roadmaps.
- Stakeholder Management, including workshop facilitation.
- Understanding and use of Service Management practices such as ITIL or eTOM.
- Either hold professional registration with a relevant professional organisation, or willingness to work towards registration.

Other Requirements: Candidates must have an existing right to live and work in the UK. Candidates must be willing to undergo an internal baseline personnel security standard check prior to starting their employment with the company. Candidates must be willing and eligible to complete a United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) security clearance application to the Security Check (SC) level upon starting their employment with the company. To gain SC Clearance you will normally need at least 5 years' UK residency.
