Overview
Founded in 2004 and Incorporated in 2011, Sira Building manage the Design, Build and Maintenance of all buildings for Public and Private sector clients. We are based in Bedfordshire and undertake work throughout the UK, Scotland and Ireland, which allows us to serve a diversity of markets and industries. Sira Building are recruiting for an administrator/ PA to work within their team carrying out office organisation, performing administrative duties and communicating relevant information effectively and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Providing office support including: liaising with clients and contractors
- Keeping well-organised files and records of business activity
- Researching company data and archived reports
- Keeping computer databases up to date
- Interacting with clients either on the phone or in person
- Answering phones and connecting calls to the proper department
- Taking phone messages and passing them on
- Communicating with materials suppliers and vendors
- Using spreadsheets to track expenses and company spending; organising files
- Collecting and inputting company data
- Learning about the company\’s mission and available products/services
- Sending and filing emails
- Preparing documents by printing and copying
- Writing and editing company correspondence
- Collecting and sorting post
- Acting as a personal assistant to the 2 directors
- Scheduling appointments and events
- Updating, reminding and creating new appointments for both directors
- Informing the directors of upcoming appointments
- Ordering office stationery and other supplies
- Preparing meeting rooms by setting up chairs and getting refreshments
- Participating in office meetings and taking meeting minutes
- Being ready for any other administrative tasks and PA tasks that are required
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office apps (Word, Excel & Outlook)
Qualifications
- A minimum of three GCSEs or equivalent A*-C / 9-4, including English and maths
- A Driving License
Job Details
- Work remotely: No
- Job Types: Part-time, Temp to perm
- Pay: £12.30-£13.00 per hour
